The 800-page report is considered paramount in sealing the fate for the demand for Telangana. The report is also said to consist a "range of options" rather than recommendations on the sensitive Telangana issue. The media has been strictly instructed not to discuss the specifics of the report due to the unpredictable outcome of the report.
Andhra Pradesh is under a heavy security cover following the release of the report. As much as 5000 paramilitary forces are on stand by in case of any untoward incidents that may erupt in the state. The nerve centres of the agitation like the Osmania University , the Hyderabad High Court, courts in Ranga Reddy district is fiercely guarded.
